Understanding people activity for surveillance and robot interaction

Andrei Tupolev
11:00 11:30

The talk will discuss new computer vision and deep learning approaches for human behavior analysis on video. This is one of the big issues in many artificial intelligence applications both from static and moving cameras. It has been initially studied for video surveillance but now it is mandatory in many fields such as human robot interaction, for automotive driver analysis and for ergonomic design. The new results of 2D and 3D detection and tracking by pose recognition will be presented according with the last CVPR and ECCV results. They are based on supervised deep learnin and generative methods. Finally we will present their integration with new approaches on video captioning to translate what the computer sees into language for natural interaction
