12:00 12:20

Generative adversarial networks (GANs) were invented in 2014 by Ian Goodfellow. Since then, there have been multiple improvements both in the resolution of the images produced, as well as in the stability of the training process. We will dive into the basic algorithm of GAN as well as the various ways they have improved over time, culminating in the most current state of the art architecture from Nvidia, the StyleGAN.
