Chuchupal Vladimir (1953) graduated MSPU in 1976, received Ph.D from Computing Centre Academy of sciences USSR, CCAS USSR in 1984. From 1984 по 2015 he was a researcher and a head of subdivision of CCAS (since 1993 Computing Centre named A.A.Dorodnicyn Russsan academy of sciences), from 2015 he is a leading scientist at Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of Russian Academy of Sciences, FRC CSC. He was a group leader in some tens of research and applied projects on speech technology (noisy speech enhancement, speech recognition, keyword detection, speaker verification and speech analysis). His current interests include the design of algorithms for speech and biological signal processing, acoustical modeling for speech recognition, in particular, a modeling of pronunciation variationin natural speech. He is a fellow of editorial board of "Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis" and "Speech Technology" magazines.
